Vendi is a peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace for buying and selling new and refurbished tech, such as smartphones, laptops, and tablets.

The marketplace includes in-hand verification by a network of verifiers to ensure the quality of items across sellers and buyers, making Vendi a top tech secondary marketplace with a mainstream security layer on the platform.

Challenges

  • Restructured the campaign strategy to avoid audience overlap, preventing competition among our campaigns and providing clearer performance data for each audience and campaign.
  • Implemented a rotation and created variations of top creatives within 1-2 days via our design team to reduce the frequency of specific creatives, which increased  CTR by 11%.
  • Created a mood board and test schedule to methodically test different creative angles and their combinations across different audiences, avoiding repeated tests and inefficient budget allocation, increasing ROAS by 137%.

Results

We created a solid foundation with our design team to research and methodically test new creative angles for the ads themselves, along with refreshing the top performing ads when they reached a high frequency of impressions, which began  to reduce CTR and ROAS with new variations.

That allowed us to increase the ROAS by 137% and increase the CTR by 11%,  with CPA reduced by 43%. We also restructured the account to avoid cannibalization among our client campaigns and implemented  better structure to test and receive  clear performance data.
